Founded in 1996, ALFORD FESTIVAL MUSIC is a non profit making voluntary organisation dedicated to bringing live music to Alford. Alford is a small market Town in East Lincolnshire with a vibrant cultural life and an established reputation for its Arts and Crafts. ALFORD FESTIVAL MUSIC is made up of Town’s people with a common interest in all forms of Music of a high standard.

The Aims of ALFORD FESTIVAL MUSIC is to bring Live Music to Alford and it is involved in running a Jazz Festival and a Jazz Club as well as promoting concerts of Folk Music, Classical Music, Rock, Pop and Music of different ethnic origins, mostly with professional musicians.

ALFORD FESTIVAL MUSIC also runs workshops and masterclasses for amateur musicians.

ALFORD FESTIVAL MUSIC uses a range of venues in the Town, from Community Halls to pubs, gardens, churches, the Manor House, the Windmill and the streets.
