THE NEW RIVERSIDE JAZZMEN are a popular Grimsby based band playing in the New Orleans and Dixieland tradition. They have quite a following locally and were the ideal outfit to entertain us at our Jazz Picnic in the Half Moon Hotel Gardens on Sunday.

Sunday brought the threat of showers which never really materialised, but the Half Moon gardens were full to bursting for the Jazz Picnic. The New Riverside Jazzmen kept us entertained all afternoon with their New Orleans Jazz, and all ages sat around and ate and drank and watched the umberella ladies do their walk,and the kiddies play. It was a great way to end a thoroughly enjoyable weekend.
