The Saturday lunchtime concert was held at the Half Moon Hotel. The concert featured Alford
Jazz Club residents JOHN LEVOI and GRAHAM EADIE, otherwise
known as SWINGFELLAS, playing their gypsy jazz, with JOHN
MURRAY, SARAH EVISON, PRIS MCGIRR
and guests CAPE CRUSADERS.
The GYPSY GUITAR WORKSHOP was led by GRAHAM EADIE and JOHN LEVOI, and was an introduction
to gypsy music for guitarists and bass players with intermediate
level skills.
CUBANA BOP are an internationally
known 6 - piece band who play South American rhythms with
a bebop twist and are great for Salsa dancing. They performed in the MANOR HOUSE marquee on Saturday evening.
The Sunday JAZZ PICNIC was back at our traditional venue in the gardens of the newly
restored ALFORD MANOR HOUSE. The entertainment
was by North Lincolnshire New Orleans band DEEP
SOUTH who led a parade to the Market Place and back prior to the Picnic.
