This year we are putting the emphasis on Lincolnshire’s own talented Jazz Musicians. The weekend will kick off with a JAZZ SUPPER at the HALF MOON, West Street. Good food, with Dinner Jazz from the Grimsby based band GENTLE JAZZ
Tickets available from the HALF MOON. (TEL 01 507 463 477)

The Saturday lunchtime concert which was such a success last year will be held in the Half Moon gardens and will feature
JOHN LEVOI, GRAHAM EADIE, and PETER BARNABY, otherwise known as SWINGFELLAS, playing their gypsy jazz,
and THE BACK OF THE MOON BAND with Alford Jazz Club residents JOHN MURRAY, PAUL HICKSON, SARAH EVISON, GORDON ANDERSON and PRIS MCGIRR

SHINY STOCKINGS are a nine piece swing band comprised of members of the famous KEITH BALDWIN BIG BAND. They will be playing music from the Swing era for listening and dancing in the MANOR HOUSE MARQUEE. Barbecue food will be available , and there will be a bar.

TONY ORMEThe Sunday JAZZ PICNIC will be at our traditional venue in the gardens of ALFORD MANOR HOUSE. New Orleans style music by TONY ORME and the SARATOGA JAZZ ENSEMBLE. Please bring your own food and drink, with blankets, sunshades, and whatever you need to make a perfect picnic. Food and ale also available at the Manor House award winning café and bar.

Some tables and chairs provided. Brolly ladies please attend!

This year AFM are introducing a new event. On Sunday evening saxophonist Rick Woolgar is bringing three other top notch players: Pat McCarthy on guitar, Warren Jolly on double bass, and John Perry on drums to the Half Moon. This is a great opportunity to hear these four prestigious musicians play together. Performance will be 8 – 11 pm, admission £5 on the door. This will conclude a wonderful weekend of Jazz!
