THE RED STRIPE BAND, our Saturday night guests, are a powerful seven-piece who play boogie, jive and rock and roll and have delighted audiences at many Jazz Festivals across the country

Alford will surely never be the same after experiencing the Red Stripe Band, who gave us an evening of the most exciting Jump Jive and Boogie woogie music. Almost everyone was on the dance floor by the end of the evening, encouraged by the Cal'donian Swing Dance Society whose demonstrations were wonderful to watch. The band thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are keen to come back to Alford.
